Google Fiber Roll Back its 100 MBPS Cheaper Plan, No More available for New Customers

Google Fiber has decided to not continue its lowest gigabit plan offer for customers. Although, this cheaper plan was suitable to low income users.

The company had been charging only $50 for lowest gigabit plan that was 100 Mbps. This cheaper plan is still running for old members but no more available for new users.

On the other hand, Google fiber has no plan to increase the price of its 1 Gbps alternative plan which cost $70. The fiber service of Google is continuously in operations since 2012.  If you will compare with other fiber alternative offers, you can find the Google fiber 1000 Mbps plan is cheaper as compare to other service providers in United States.

While other ISP Providers has a rarity which gives them an opportunity to raise the prices under the cover of hidden charges.

Customers are savings already $20 a month on the 1000 Mbps plan since it was launched in 2016. the fiber internet connection provide more than download and upload speed which is more than enough for streaming purpose. For instance, Netflix recommend 25Mbps for its 4K Videos streaming’s.

If you are using Google Stadia games with 4K resolution, and 60 frames per second with HDR than Google recommends only 35Mbps for high quality results though the fiber plan is more than enough.

Thousands of people in United States are applying or sign up for Google Fiber daily basis but still there are no chance to activate because expansions of ISP’s has not operational at the given time yet. People are hoping that it will be available soon in their cities in United States.
